Polenta (for grilling)
- 1l Water
- 175g Polenta
- 50g Butter
- 50g Grana Padana - grated
- Salt and Pepper
Bring water to the boil.
Whisk in the polenta, and continue stirring with a wooden spoon until thick.
Add the butter, grana, and a glug of extra virgin olive oil.
Cook for about 5 min then season to taste.
Pour polenta out onto a baking sheet, and cool.
Cut into triangles and gill or fry until coloured.
Garlic can be added to the water at the start to add extra flavour.
