The cultivation of citrus limonia, commonly called the lemon, is the main characteristic of the sorrento peninsula. The famous lemon liqueur is made with this fruit. The polio family has managed the farm ‘Il Convento’ with much passion for three generations, choosing to use the best lemons from their harvest. Limoncello can be kept in the freezer and is best served ice-cold.
