This wine is a vivid ruby-red colour. The aroma is intense and complex, slightly ethereal, fruity, flowery and spicy with the scent of blackberries marasca (wild cherry) violet, tobacco, cinnamon and vanilla. The taste is dry, warm, soft with a good concentration of tannins, acidity and sapidity, with a full body, well balanced and intense long lasting persistence.
